PrestaShop's default sitemap includes everything: empty categories, manufacturer pages with no content, out-of-stock products, internal CMS pages. All of that enters Google's index even though it should not.

Advanced Sitemap gives you the control you need: individually exclude any product, category or page, define which content types are included by default and configure the priority and frequency of each section. The result is a clean sitemap that helps the crawler find what really matters.

Every time a new sitemap is generated, the module automatically sends a ping to Google and Bing to let them know new content is available. There is no need to access Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools to notify them manually.

The generation history records every time the sitemap has been generated, how many URLs it contained and whether the ping to search engines was completed successfully. You have full traceability of every update.

Google limits sitemaps to 50,000 URLs per file. If your catalogue exceeds that limit, the module automatically splits the sitemap into multiple files and generates a sitemap index that groups them together. You do not need to do anything: the module detects the catalogue size and applies the split if necessary.

Compatible with MultiShop installations: each store generates its own independent sitemap with its own URLs, languages and exclusion settings.

Upload the ZIP from Modules → Module Manager → Upload a module and PrestaShop handles the rest. The module automatically detects your URL structure, languages and active stores.

For automatic generation, the module includes the exact instructions to configure the cron job on your server or hosting panel. Compatible with Hostinger, SiteGround, OVH and any hosting with access to cron jobs.
