FreeShip Bar — Free shipping progress bar for PrestaShop
Show customers how much is left to qualify for free shipping with a progress bar that updates by itself. Raises your average order value without touching prices.
Free shipping above a certain amount is one of the levers that work best in an online shop. The problem is that hardly any customer knows about it: it is buried in the shipping terms page, and by the time they reach the cart they have already decided what to buy.
FreeShip Bar puts it in front of them at the right moment: “You are £12 away from free shipping”, with a bar that fills up as they add products. A friendly nudge, not an annoying pop-up.
Install it, choose where to show it, and you are done. It does not connect to any external service, needs no scheduled tasks and there is nothing to maintain.
The module in action
Updates on its own, no page reload
Every time the customer adds, removes or changes the quantity of a product, the bar recalculates instantly. No reload and no need to visit the cart: they watch themselves getting closer to free shipping in real time.
Uses the amount you already configured
PrestaShop already has a free shipping amount in Shipping > Preferences. The module reads it from there, so you do not have to keep the same number in two places. If you prefer a different amount just for the bar, you can type your own.
You choose where it appears
Enable it on the cart page (the most common choice), on the product page right below the buy button, or as a full width banner above the header. All three at once if you want.
On the product page it does not depend on your theme having the right slot: the module finds the “Add to cart” button and places itself right below it. Many themes only leave room at the very bottom of the page, under the related products, where the customer never sees it.
Your own texts and colours
Both messages — the “you are X away” one and the “you got it” one — are written for each language in your shop. Type {amount} wherever the remaining amount should appear. You also pick the background, text and bar colours, including a separate colour for when the bar is completed.
With or without taxes
Compare the cart total with taxes included or excluded, depending on how your shop is set up. One switch and that is it.
No maintenance, no dependencies
It calls no external service, stores no customer data, and needs no cron jobs or third party libraries. Install it and forget about it — compatible from PrestaShop 1.7 up to 9.
